In April 2012, Oakley’s ONE ICON quarterly magazine took an in-depth look at Talk About Curing Autism, the issues faced by families living with Autism and how friends of Oakley can get involved.

Autism is widely misunderstood. Recognizing that awareness is key, Oakley hopes to shed light on the reality of life with Autism. Four TACA families graciously invited Oakley into their homes to share their stories and the result is a touching narrative of strength, hope and community in which TACA plays a pivotal role.

To view this important effort to educate and personalize the mysterious disease that is Autism, encourage the families affected, and support TACA programs – please download the ONE ICON Magazine app on iTunes (online magazine is free.)

WAYS TO HELP TACA & FAMILIES LIVING WITH AUTISM

Oakley friends inspired by the TACA story in ONE ICON can help serve our mission and the families we support.

There are four ways to make a difference for families living with Autism:

  1. Donate
  2. Buy the Oakley special edition TACA eyewear
  3. Volunteer
  4. Start a youth ambassador group at your school

OAKLEY & TACA HISTORY

Since 2010, Oakley’s collection has raised more than $275,000 and a tremendous amount of awareness for the Autism community. TACA and the families we serve are beyond grateful to Oakley for helping families living with Autism.

In addition to the popular men’s Fuel Cell™ style, Oakley introduced the women’s Necessity™ style in 2011 replacing Ravishing™.
