Susan Lang, MFT and Child Development Specialist

Marriage and Family

Susan will be discussing the strain that having a child with a disability places on marriages and families. She will be providing methods for coping with related issues. She will also address sibling issues.

This is a forum where parents and siblings are encouraged to come and ask questions and get advice related to their personal situations in an open, supportive and sharing environment. We will have Kleenex boxes on hand!

Susan Lang, MFT is associate faculty at Antioch University Santa Barbara and California State University Northridge. She holds a Masters in Early Childhood Education, a Masters in Clinical Psychology, and a California Elementary Teaching Credential. She is a licensed MFT working with families who have children with special needs and is a vendor for Tri Counties Regional Center. In her work she draws upon her own experiences growing up with a sibling who had special needs.
